Special notch is designed for different Epson ink cartridge in the chip resetter (you will also recive adapter for thin cartridges). 2. The pins on the chip resetter should tightly contact with the terminal in the chip IC of the cartridge. 3. The LED will light up and will flash red for 3~4s and at the end it will light green, which means that cartridge is successfully resetted.              TROUBLESHOOTING 1. The LED in the Chip Resetter does not flash. Causes: a) The pins do not contact well with the terminal of the chip IC in the cartridge. b) Cartridge chip is damaged or that chip is not possible to reset. Some very rare compatabile cartridge chips can not be resetted because manufacturer limited their reset capability. However, before shipping, all resetters are tested with chinese compatabile cartridges. 2. The LED in the Chip Resetter is constantly RED. Causes: a) The pins do not contact well with the terminal of the chip IC in the cartridge. Try again until you get greed LED. 2. The quantity, quality of printing is not good. Causes: a) Some air is refilled into the ink cartridge when the ink is refilled. Do one or two head cleaning cycles or refill and reset your cartridge again. b) The quantity of ink is not good.
